Today we have been informed that a new desire for land has just begun. A piece of land in America has been labeled as very valuable and everyone wants their hands on it. We have been informed that American settlers have moved into the territory with no rights to do so. This makes Mexican officials very angry because that land should be rightfully ours. Our very own General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna has confronted the American settlers and told them to get off our land. They refused to do so. A plan for a takeover is being constructed. Mexican officials think that we will attack at the Alamo; but, not quite sure yet. Many questions have been buzzing around lately such as, will this be war? will the American settlers leave? will we give up? All will be answered soon.
